In 2025, the Yorkist History Trust celebrates its Ruby Anniversary, having been founded in 1985 to ‘further education, learning and research related to the history of late medieval England (and in particular the life and reign of King Richard III) and to disseminate the results of such education, learning, and research‘. Forty years later, we remain committed to these objectives with a busy publication schedule and by providing grants towards relevant research projects and publications. Throughout the year, we will be celebrating both the Trust’s past and its future with a series of events as we look forward to the next forty years and beyond.
